Started before the turn of the century on Microsoft C, BASIC, Assembly code across OS/2, Windows, NCR proprietary systems and worked up through C++, C#, and Java. After plateauing a bit, I shifted to Ruby on Rails and codeveloped a SaaS serving 40+ US states with billions of transactions per state and eventually became manager of the the software developers in the ecosystem.

• Co-developer of a suite of SaaS products that have earned over $1 Billion in revenue over 14 years.
• Legacy lead developer of codebases of over one million lines of code in C and Ruby.
• Ability to come up to speed on esoteric platforms such as AIX, Solaris, etc., and solve edge cases unique to them.
• I love stupidly obscure and difficult problems. I love legacy code and getting to exclaim "yitaf would someone do this?" while also respecting that the organic nature of how the code got there is likely lost to time and turnover.
• These days I use cloud and local LLMs not only to "vibe code" a head start on a solution, but to build troubleshooting and tracking tools and to more quickly iterate on theories about why something might be breaking.
