I'm Justin, a full-stack engineer based in West Virginia and relocating to the Tampa Bay area (St. Petersburg–Tampa). I'm looking for my next role on a smaller product team, ideally under ~50 people, where I can own features end-to-end, ship quickly, and keep quality high. I'm open to remote (US) or hybrid roles.
At Idemia-NSS I ship mission-critical software for security-sensitive programs: Angular, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, and microservices, with measurable outcomes (e.g. ~40% technical-debt reduction in three months, ~30% performance gains via service design, query tuning, and a more reactive frontend). I'm comfortable in Agile/SAFe delivery and care about review, testing, and clean rollout—and I use AI-assisted tooling (e.g. Cursor) for spikes and refactors, not as a substitute for discipline in production.
Outside work I build and run full-stack products that integrate LLMs in production: devresumes.com (guided editing, PDF export, LLM-assisted parsing/import, Stripe, OAuth, Spring Boot APIs with validation and error handling), and dungeonhelper (RAG with embeddings and Pinecone, Anthropic Claude for streaming answers, rate limiting and caching for cost/latency). I also ship data-heavy and content-forward Next.js sites with strong TypeScript, Tailwind, and SEO habits. I gravitate toward clear architecture, maintainable code, and LLM product integration (not just demos).
If you need someone who can bridge enterprise delivery and fast, modern product engineering, including AI-native workflows where they belong, I'd like to talk.
