From sketchbook to codebase — 10+ years shipping things that matter.

I didn't start my career staring at a terminal — I started with a sketchbook. After studying illustration and industrial design at Kendall College of Art and Design and Ringling College, I found myself drawn less to the canvas and more to the craft of how things are built. The same instinct that made me obsess over composition, proportion, and user experience in art turned out to translate perfectly to frontend engineering. Code, it turns out, is just another medium — and I've been pushing its limits ever since. Over the last decade-plus I've grown from building responsive marketing sites into leading large-scale platform engineering at Deloitte, where I work at the intersection of frontend architecture, delivery operations, and AI-assisted tooling. I've shipped enterprise React applications, designed automation pipelines that replaced hours of manual work with a single command, and turned chaotic multi-repo environments into well-documented, auditable systems that teams can actually trust. Some recent highlights: 🚀 Led cps-process-automation, an end-to-end workflow automation initiative that reduced manual processing, improved SLA adherence, and gave stakeholders real-time visibility into operational runs 🔧 Drove 30+ repository modernization across Project Omnia — coordinating dependency upgrades, PR waves, and release execution in Azure DevOps with zero dropped balls 🤖 Built AI-driven automation tools that streamlined CI/CD, PR validation, and testing workflows — shipping faster without sacrificing quality 📚 Converted tribal knowledge into reusable SOPs and operational playbooks that improved onboarding, reduced execution variance, and made audit season a lot less painful Where I can help where others can't? I'm the rare engineer who thinks like a designer, documents like a tech writer, and automates like someone who really hates doing the same thing twice. I bridge the gap between technical execution and human workflows — whether that means partnering with designers in Figma, translating ambiguous business requirements into production-ready systems, or just making sure the team actually understands what shipped and why. If you need someone who can own a project from whiteboard to production and leave the codebase better than they found it — let's talk.

Senior DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer - 25+ years in tech, AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Datadog. Currently seeking remote or Tampa Bay hybrid roles.

Automation
DevOps
GitHub Actions
Performance Monitoring
Terraform

I've been in technology since 1996, starting with building and selling PCs and working my way through every layer of the stack. For the last 7+ years I've focused on DevOps, platform engineering, and infrastructure automation. Most recently I spent 4.5 years as the sole infrastructure engineer at a banking SaaS company, where I owned the full stack for 87 customers and $5M in annual revenue. The work I'm most proud of from that role: I built a Datadog observability stack from scratch where no application visibility existed before, automated customer onboarding from an 8-hour manual process down to under an hour, and led the migration from on-premises hosting to AWS that supported 117% customer growth without adding infrastructure headcount. I also held a VP of Engineering title at the prior company, so I'm comfortable leading teams as well as building systems. My core stack is AWS, Kubernetes, CloudFormation, Docker, GitHub Actions, and Datadog. I've done cloud migrations, cost optimization (50% infrastructure reduction), CI/CD pipeline design, database administration, security compliance (SOC 2, pen test remediation), and operational documentation at scale. I'm looking for senior DevOps, SRE, platform engineering, or infrastructure roles - remote or Tampa Bay hybrid. I'm drawn to teams where infrastructure ownership is real, not bureaucratic, and where the engineer closest to the problem has the authority to fix it. I bring 25+ years of doing exactly that.

Full-stack engineer specializing in backend systems, cloud infrastructure, and QA automation.

Automation

Python

I started my career as a software engineering intern at Jacobs Engineering Group supporting NASA projects, where I built automation tools and got my first taste of what it means to write code that actually matters. That early experience set the tone for how I approach development: build things that work reliably, automate what can be automated, and always think about the person on the other end. Since then I've worked across the full stack — from writing QA automation suites in Python at a healthcare organization to shipping production web apps with payment integrations, real-time dashboards, and cloud infrastructure at my current role. I've managed AWS deployments, built CI/CD pipelines, consolidated messy internal tooling into clean unified systems, and migrated large datasets without breaking anything in production. Beyond my day-to-day work, my deepest passion is applying machine learning to medical problems. I believe we're at an inflection point where AI has the genuine potential to save lives — catching what clinicians might miss, speeding up diagnoses, and making expert-level analysis accessible everywhere. I've been pursuing this hands-on, most recently building a 3D U-Net deep learning model to detect intracranial aneurysms in brain CT scans as part of the RSNA 2024 Kaggle competition. It's the kind of problem I want to keep solving — where getting it right isn't just good engineering, it actually matters to real patients. I'm a CS grad from UCF, based in Tampa, and always looking for problems worth solving.

Full-stack engineer building enterprise solutions with modern AI integration

AI
Node.js
Python
React
TypeScript

My Developer Journey I've always been driven by the challenge of turning complex problems into elegant, scalable solutions. Since graduating from Florida State University in 2022, I've evolved from building full-stack applications for small businesses to leading development on enterprise-scale Army applications serving over 1,000 users. What excites me most about software engineering isn't just writing code—it's the impact that code has on real people and organizations. Currently as a Software Engineer II at Plateau GRP, I've found my stride in the intersection of full-stack development and modern AI integration. I led the architecture and implementation of two mission-critical military applications using Angular,.NET Core, and SQL Server, where reliability and security aren't just nice-to-haves—they're absolute requirements. But beyond the technical stack, I'm proud of maintaining a 95% sprint completion rate and mentoring junior developers, helping them navigate debugging challenges and understand the SDLC practices that make projects successful. What Sets Me Apart My passion lies in efficiency and modernization. At B-EZ Graphix, I wasn't satisfied with "good enough"—I reduced Docker image sizes by 60% and slashed deployment time from 2 hours to just 15 minutes through intelligent CI/CD pipelines. This drive to optimize and automate has become my signature approach to development. I don't just build features; I build systems that make teams more productive. What really makes me unique is my hands-on experience integrating cutting-edge AI into production applications. My recent project, Clarity Feed, showcases this perfectly—a full-stack AI-powered customer feedback analysis platform that leverages Claude AI for natural language processing. I designed it to handle 100+ concurrent operations with sub-200ms query performance, proving that AI integration and performance optimization aren't mutually exclusive. Why Work With Me I bring a rare combination: enterprise-grade full-stack expertise across.NET, React, Angular, and Node.js, coupled with real-world AI/ML integration experience and a DevOps mindset. Whether you need someone to architect microservices, optimize database performance, implement CI/CD pipelines, or integrate generative AI into your products, I've done it in production environments. I thrive in Agile teams, communicate technical concepts clearly to stakeholders, and genuinely enjoy mentoring others—because great code is a team sport. If you're looking for a developer who can deliver enterprise solutions while staying on the cutting edge of AI technology, let's talk.
