Hey all!
I've always been into tech and computers and programming since I first touched a computer in the 90's. I actually took programming classes in high school and some at my local community college before I made the change to Film. Everyone in my family was engineers and computer programmers, and I asked myself if I wanted to do the same. Honestly I wanted to step outside of my comfort zone and went to film school. I did well at it and honestly would've continued on at Golf Channel, but it sadly closed it Orlando location. I would've had to go back on the road, so I decided to make a change. In December 2020 I went to a full stack coding boot camp at UCF. I finished that in June of 2021 and got Hired at Proforma in August of 2021. I was there till July of 2023 when I was laid off. While there and always in any job. I found myself able to learn and figure out any task that was presented to me. I was eventually made the team lead of the QA Automation Developer team. I was migrating the team to using XUnit instead of MSTest as well as trying to migrate to a new design pattern. I taught myself C#, Angular, Selenium, XUnit, MSTest, Nunit, Automation Testing, and various other technologies while working there. I've also continued to build my skills and knowledge on my own time with: AWS, Azure, Svelte, Typescript, Next.Js, and various other tools. With my experience in live television I thrive in all situations and learn quickly because we had to in live TV. It was truly always a sink or swim world, and it's taught my how to take any challenge that comes my way!
