Self-Taught Full-Stack w/ 15+ yrs exp | I just want to build things
Private informationDescription
As a 90s kid, I'd always had interests in tech growing up, Game development was my initial goal, but, when I found myself automating my work at a data-entry job, I realized just how much I really enjoyed coding. From there, I worked on some small apps and got noticed by an employer who gave me a chance in an official dev role. It was truly a sink-or-swim moment, and man I was sure I was in over my head.
But, through dedication and mentoring, I quickly became an asset to our team. Within the year, I was leading my own component development from scratch to help with our business processes.
I've been super fortunate to be able to make a career out of this, after 15+ years, I still love to just sit down and 'code'.
My roles have grown to give me opportunities to work with massive enterprise applications. My passion keeps me continually involved with other new tech through side-projects. My latest endeavors have been identifying use-case integration points for AI in big-data including consolidation, analysis, and reporting. Focused on solutioning through IaaS and SaaS with opportunities to grow through enterprise app design and team leadership.
I believe, even still, that my unorthodox path has given me a perspective that allows me to bring creative solutioning to the table. Whether API integration, transactional messaging, modular component building or system integrations, I've learned how to approach and manage applications and their platforms following the latest of standards in design and security
