Whether it was building EdPoint, a peer-to-peer learning platform, or developing Trivia.ai, an AI-powered tool for active learning, I’ve always gravitated toward projects that bridge gaps and empower users.

Building a Community of Learners – EdPoint
During my undergraduate years, I often found myself in informal study groups, exchanging knowledge with friends—teaching them concepts I had mastered while learning topics they were proficient in. These interactions were some of the most effective and rewarding learning experiences, but they were limited to small circles.

This led me to EdPoint, a platform designed to scale peer-to-peer learning across an entire university. Using a matching algorithm, it connected students who wanted to learn a skill with those who could teach it. Whether it was Python, Photoshop, or a complex engineering subject, EdPoint ensured that no student had to struggle alone.

As the team leader and technical lead, I designed the platform’s architecture and implemented its core features, bringing this vision to life. Seeing students connect, collaborate, and grow reinforced my belief that technology isn't just about writing code—it’s about empowering people.

Revolutionizing Learning with AI – Trivia.ai
In graduate school, I noticed another challenge: students often passively consume lecture slides but struggle with retention. That’s when I set out to create Trivia.ai, an AI-powered tool that transforms lecture content into quizzes and flashcards for active learning.

Leveraging Google’s PaLM2 LLM model and Vertex API, my team developed a system that could take any document—lecture slides, research papers, transcripts—and instantly generate interactive study material. Built on a serverless architecture in Google Cloud, it ensured scalability and real-time processing.
