Always Learning!

Hi! My name is Matthew Sharp and I am a senior studying computer science at the University of South Florida. I am originally from South Africa and I moved to Tampa in 2021 for my bachelor's degree. I will be graduating soon and I am currently looking for a full time position!
Aside from the skills I have developed in the classroom, I have around a year's worth of industry experience from completing a Software Engineering Internship and Co/Op at Spectrum. During this time, I grew a lot as a developer, learning new technologies and frameworks as well as the software development lifecycle in a professional setting.
I have also been fortunate enough to be involved with various clubs and organizations on my campus. I served as the head of technology for HackaBull in 2022-2023, which is the largest Hackathon for students in Tampa Bay. I was also the technical lead for the Google Developer's Student Club in 2022-2023.
From all of these experiences I met some awesome people and really grew my ability and affinity for working on a team!
I am currently looking to meet some innovative thinkers in the Tampa Bay area and I am also looking for something cool to work on after I graduate!
