I danced around software engineering for a while, before finding it to be my passion. In college programming 1 and 2 was not interesting to me, and taking up a ruby on rails book didn't help since I had the answers and debugging my errors wasn't needed.

After graduating I had the chance to be in a family owner tech business where I managed operations, and decided to learn how to build chatbots using Raza AI through which I also learned how to setup VS Code and Python locally. At this point I was still not hooked.

A few months went by and I found myself with what I thought was my dream job opportunity, working as a data analyst for a big real estate management firm. They would mention in passing that they'd like a "web scraper" to get updated listing data for their spreadsheets, and I said "what's a web scraper?". The rest is history.

Through my career I have been described as someone with grit, determination, and the ability to learn and implement new technologies/ideas on my own. I think these skills have helped me tremendously at contributing in large systems.
