Creative Minded Frontend Developer
Private informationDescription
Hi! I’m a Tampa-based Web Developer and Billboard charting drummer with a growth mindset and a passion for the pursuit of learning. I’ve spent the last year building passion projects and now I’m looking for a team to join to help expand my skill set and contribute to the success of a development team.
Through building projects such as my IMDb clone, drum machine web app, and Futurama mailer, I’ve managed to gain my footing in a variety of topics such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React, JQuery, Bootstrap, TailwindCSS, and NextJS to name a few.
I’ve always had a knack for looking at things from a different angle in life and taking the road less traveled. I left high school and toured the country performing in several bands before starting college at HCC and ultimately graduating from UT with honors before becoming a K-12 music teacher. As a musician, I was self-taught until I arrived at HCC where I quickly put the hours in to become a reliable performer with professional sight-reading capabilities. As a developer, I took the self-taught route and used a guided bootcamp where I had to fill in the gaps of knowledge and finish projects where the courses couldn’t. I’m confident in my abilities to join a development team as a Junior Frontend Developer where I can begin to contribute and help the team reach their goals. I would love talk with you and see if I’m a good fit!
I’ve spent 10 years working as a drummer for Jobsite Theater and JER/Skatune Network where we landed at #74 in the Billboard Top 100, 4 years in the ESE music classroom where I developed brand new curriculum and built a music program for students K-12, and almost recently I’ve focused the last year becoming a front end developer through building projects that showcase my talents in programming languages and evolving frameworks.
